Maryland's Capitol City orchestra, under the leadership of Music
Director Jose-Luis Nova will present an exciting concert highlighted by
"Brahms Violin Concerto" performed by rising American soloist Soovin

Yesterday Once More - Life and love
in the sensational 70's. Enjoy the "songs that make the whole world
sing" presented by an all-star ensemble of singers and musicians,

Christmas Suites - Ballet
Theatre of Maryland Highly
acclaimed choreographer, Dianna Cuatto, Artistic Director of the Ballet
Theater of Maryland and Maggie Sansone, one of America's finest hammered
dulcimer performers combine their talents to create a unique vision of
the Celtic Yuletide Traditions through dance and music. Sansone's blend
of the traditional with original Celtic music fuses with Cuatto's
interweaving of the Classical and Celtic dance forms to take you on a
journey through time - a journey where professional dancers and
musicians will transport you to places past, present and perhaps even

Jazz Ambassadors is the
United States Army's premier touring jazz orchestra. This 19-member big
band, formed in 1969, has received great acclaim both at home and abroad
performing America's original art form, jazz. (Free)
March 1, 2008 (Sat) 7:30PM: Federal City Brass
Band - Based in Baltimore, this band uses
original instruments and recreates the sound and appearance of a Civil
War era brass band, the 26th North Carolina Regimental Band.

Revolution -
This tribute to the Beatles provides a sublime chance to relive the
music of the most popular rock 'n roll group of all time by this leading
world-wide touring show. ($22)
May 15, 2008 (Thur) 7:30PM: U.S. Navy
Band of Washington, D.C. Recognized as
"The World's Finest," the Band features some of the nation's top
musicians and performs a wide variety of music ranging from classical
orchestral works to original arrangements of current popular favorites,
as well as traditional marches and patriotic fare. (Free)

Stef Scaggiari
- Light Classics and Jazz
Piano, an Annapolitan who has played around the world. Stephan
Scaggiari, pianist, composer, recording artist, has been an active
professional in the music industry for over two decades. His career has
taken him to Turkey (the International Music Festival); to the
Netherlands (the Rotterdam Music Festival); to Japan for the
Concord/Fujitsu Festival Tour, traveling and performing with the Carol
Sloane Group, the Modern Jazz Quartet, the Count Basie All-Stars, and
Mel Torme. This year Stef performed at the 2nd Annual Saluzzo Festival
in Italy with jazz legend Ethel Ennis. He has made over 30
recordings and can be heard on National Public Radio's Weekend Edition
on Sundays. He is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and has a
Masters degree from the Peabody Institute. He is an alumnus of the U.S.
Marine Band and was the White House pianist, performing there over 200
times. (This concert was cancelled last season due to snow) ($18)

Sandler as Maurice Chevalier.
A native of Belgium, Mr Sandler's entertainment career spans
more than 40 years and has taken him to perform on four continents. For
20 years he was the continental half of the Capitol recording duo
"Sandler and Young." He has recorded dozens of albums and appeared
in four European films and hundreds of TV shows. He hosted the Kraft
Music Hall for one season in London and was a frequent guest on some of
TV's top variety shows both in the US and
abroad.
